Concise curriculum vitae

Dr. Anthoula A. Chatzikyriakidou was born in Serres, Greece in 1976. She graduated from the School of Sciences, Department of Biology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2000 and received her PhD from the Medical School of Ioannina University in 2004. During ages 2009-2010, she was trained in international and national laboratories/institutes, and in 2015 she was participated in the “Teaching Educational Program” of the Medical School of Aristotle University. In 2014, she was appointed as Lecturer in Medical Biology and Genetics in the Faculty of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and in 2016 as Assistant Professor (non-tenure). She teaches Medical Biology and Medical Genetics to undergraduate and graduate students at the Faculty of Medicine and to undergraduate students at the Faculty of Dentistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Dr. Chatzikyriakidou participated in the translation of one book in Genetics. She published more than 50 papers in peer review international journals with more than 600 references; she has written 3 chapters in books and 9 papers in Greek journals. She was an invited speaker in 2 International Congresses and 2 in National Congresses. She participated in 5 Greek Research Programs and 2 European Research Programs. She took 13 funding sources: 2 in international congresses, 4 in Greek congresses, and 7 for her graduate and post-graduate studies. Her main research interests include genetic epidemiology and immunogenetics.
